David Houle

David Houle is one of the Co-Founders and Managing Director of the Institute. David Houle is a futurist, thinker and speaker. Houle spent more than 20 years in media and entertainment. He has worked at NBC, CBS and was part of the senior executive team that created and launched MTV, Nickelodeon, VH1 and CNN Headline News.

The Sarasota Institute is putting on three free presentations to the community of Sarasota-Bradenton.  These are to introduce the larger community to the goals and visions of The Sarasota Institute.  We will explain how the Institute was formed and our plans for the future. 

 

Here is the information for the three free presentations:

 

• 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the Ringling Museum’s Tsing Tsung and Wei Fong Chao Lecture Hall. Please enter through the Visitor’s Pavilion and take the tram or walk to the Chao Center for Asian Art. This will take a few minutes, so please arrive at the museum 15 to 30 minutes earlier.

 

 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5 at the Ringling Museum, Tsing Tsung and Wei Fong Chao Lecture Hall. Please arrive early and enter through the Visitor’s Pavilion and take the tram or walk to the Chao Center for Asian Art.

 

• 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, at the Mildred Sainer Pavillion, New College campus, 5313 Bay Shore Road.

 

An event will be held April at the State College of Florida in Manatee County, time and date to be announced. 

 

All four events will be different, with different top line speakers.
