Our first ever symposium was a huge success!

01.23.2020

“An Educated Person in 2035”  our symposium about the future of education had an attendance of some 225 people with many educators participating and in the audience.  The level of participation and engagement was high.  It was noted by several people that many of the more influential people in the Gulf Coast area of Sarasota/Bradenton were in attendance.

We did not have enough time to promote the live streaming of the event, yet we had some 400 log-ins from 13 countries around the world.  About 90% were from the United States.

If you attended the event and want to see again or if you missed it entirely, here is the recording of the event.  All of the presentations streamed were from the stage of the beautiful Neel Performing Arts Center on the campus of the State College of Florida.  There were several engaging interactive sessions in smaller rooms that were not streamed.

Thank you to all members that attended or viewed from afar!

Remember that our next symposium  “A Leap Year Look at Climate Change” is on 2/29/20 from 9a – 3:30p eastern time U.S.
